Christopher Bussema, D.P.M.

Since 2005, Dr. Christopher W. Bussema, DPM, has been a practicing podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Bussema has two board certifications by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery; forefoot and rearfoot complex reconstructive surgery (foot/ ankle).

Dr. Bussema is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to attend the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland where he later obtained his medical degree in 2002. Dr. Bussema completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio.

In 2007, Dr. Bussema joined Advanas Foot & Ankle Specialists in Sturgis, Michigan. In 2008 he formed and opened a clinic in Angola, Indiana and in 2010 opened another clinic in Coldwater, Michigan.

Although his number one passion is podiatric surgery, you can also find Dr. Bussema in a tree stand or backpacking in the mountains hunting elk and other wild game.
