Joseph P. Holicki D.O.

Dr. Joseph P. Holicki, D.O. is a board certified Ophthalmologist and is founder of Holicki Eye Centers, Established in 1994. He is originally from Flint, MI but chose to relocate to the town of Coldwater over 20 years ago to raise his family and open his practice. Dr. Holicki has many interests. He lectures often, earned a patent for his invention of the ‘eye-to-eye wheelchair lift’, is currently working on a book, and is often seen around town performing on the drums with his band…But most of his patients know him as the ‘doctor in cowboy boots’. To serve the communities better, he also opened practices in Sturgis, MI and Angola. IN. 

Dr. Holicki is a graduate of Michigan State University. His residency in Ophthalmology comes from the Detroit Osteopathic Consortium of Ophthalmology in affiliation of Michigan State University. He specializes in Glaucoma management and treatment, No-Stitch Cataract Surgery, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diagnosing and Treating Ocular Manifestations of Diabetes, Refractive Surgery, Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Eye Conditions and other Eye Disorders.

Dr. Holicki is a Laser Certified Ophthalmologist. and was the first Ophthalmologist in Michigan to perform LASEK vision correction surgery as well as other innovative types of Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Holicki strives to keep his patients informed of the latest ophthalmic advances. He lectures often and trains resident physicians routinely.  He is a member of The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, The American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
